So I've red-penned the first fifteen chapters of Grass King. I think it'll do. I hope so. I think I like it.
The first 50 pages in ms (single spaced) include an earth tremor, a magical bargain, a riot, a zonbie, and a dust-storm. Is that exciting enough, do you think?

The heroine also get a knife to her throat in that part, now I think about it. (The hero rescues her: it's how they meet, sort of.)

I hope it's exciting enough. There's also a lot of character introduction in there, and scene changes (from the city to a barren steppe) so I hope it isn't too odd.
