I need a webcam in the utility room.
How on earth did Ish manage to bring a fully adult squirrel with rigor mortis in through the cat flap?
(I'm not going to speculate on how it died, other than that it had no visible wounds or injuries. He clearly found it somewhere. He didn't get to eat it: I removed it promptly.)

The marquis is a lot better today. he gave in and talked to a doctor, who decided that any flu had gone and the problem was a chest infection. He now has antibiotics and is a lot happier.

Probably the same way as Mungo managed a fully grown (and thankfully dead) Magpie. With a lot of clattering and complaining. Unfortunately I only heard the act since I was in another room at the time and only saw him once he'd got the thing in but the look of satisfaction on his face as he dumped his prize in the middle of the carpet was something to see.
