That's fabulous! I have just ordered my shiny first edition of Jaine's book, so I look forward to having yours on my special shelf of 'books by my mates'*. Can't wait to see the cover.

*Not really, they just get filed in alphabetical order with everything else.

"ZADOK the PRIEST, and NATHAN the PROPHET, anointed SOLOMON KING".

Or in other words "And all the people rejoiced!"

Huzzah!

Excellent news! Go you!

[identity profile] maeve-the-red.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Excellent! About time too, they've been messing you around for long enough.

You'll be celebrating your own book birthday within the year!

Do you have input into the cover art? It'll be interesting to see what/who they chose to put on the front. In my head, it would definitely feature river and shadows. And possibly a certain ghost, lurking. Whether it does...

Generally, I'd agree. But then there is a certain boy with red hair and an impure soul, now isn't there?

I hope he's a bit less soppy that the average Lackey type. And he *is* a devious little b******d.

Yay! Looking forward to buying it. And, hey, doesn't "Zadok" have the second best chord in The Whole Of Music in! (The first best chord being the opening of the Monteverdi Vespers; we have a recording made in St Mark's in Venice, which is the acoustic space it was made for, and WOW!!!!!! Status Quo doesn't even come close...

Catching up with this late, but 'Squeeeeee" indeed.
