There are people who say and do stupid things everywhere, sadly, and then fail to understand or listen. And we all have to watch ourselves when our friends do things they shouldn't. It's so tempting to say, 'Oh, but A would never...' when we should, in fact, be watching A and trying to get them to behave better.
