I'm not sure. I experience myself as very underconfident, but people tell me that before they get to know me I *seem* very confident and in control. I do dress in a more 'girly' way than you, though. I'm always wary of any explanation which looks at what the victim does, because the bottom line is that this shouldn't be relevant. Women should be able to expect not to be harassed, whatever they wear, wherever they are, however confident or not they seem.
