We had a lovely time in California. We had dinner with
sartorias at a fabulous Mexican restaurant, and talked. I got to hang out with
zaan, who I do not get to see anything like often enough. We attended the Wedding Of The Year.
And we got to fly business class on the way home, due to an upgrade.
I am shattered, but in a good way.

It's good to be home, but it would be nice if all of you were nearer.

So glad you got to attend the Wedding!

Business class was quite the experience, too.
I haven't forgotten that we're sending you a book: I'm aiming to get it posted tomorrow.

I've once travelled Business class - back from a Dragoncon in 2000, with Banner - he upgraded us to 2 empty seats, It certainly beats coach by a long shot!

We have to find a way to do it more often.

I managed the complete 2,000 words of a review yesterday and a few hundred on my article on Henrietta Maria.
Today sees the other review and more article wordage, hopefully :o)
Sounds as if you had a great trip- we're not long back from cat and hen sitting in Cornwall- some pics already up and more to follow!

BUT... it must be the Yorkshire in me... I'll take it if it's free, but I wouldn't want to pay a couple of thousand pounds for the experience.
:-)
Back in the mmusic turing days, when we had 'silver elite' on Star Alliance's frequent flyer programme, we were also upgraded to business on some internal flights in the USA, but honestly there was very little difference. Maybe the seats were a bit more roomy, but that was about it. If the food was better I would hate to think what the folks in cattle-class were getting.
