Fail day

Well, today I'm made of fail: three hours has produced a measly 500 words and I just cannot concentrate. It's humid here and I feel like a rhinoceros has been dropped on me. So I'm calling it quits for the day and hoping to do better tomorrow.

I once spent 3 weeks inserting a couple of sentences into a 3 sentence paragraph for a Rewrite! Believe me, 500 words then would have been bliss!

If you feel bad, think of me: Book due April, so busy with college I have only Vice dictated 19 pages of demented spider handwriting and still have another 4 to do. That's ALL I have yet. It is so hot n sticky now I can't settle to write and I start my last term on 22nd. Plus we start moving house to the house next door on 25th, and are giving up the swimming pool which I adore for a hot tub! Plus my 3 free weeks are being spent Editing California Law text books for one of my professors... Argh!

So right now 500 words in this book would still be fantastic. :)

You are spot on with the new Torchwood: much better than I expected (up there with the last UK only series). I still hate Jack, but Gwen is in her original sensible mode and I love Rex. (Still miss Tosh and Owen, though.)
