Fail day

Well, today I'm made of fail: three hours has produced a measly 500 words and I just cannot concentrate. It's humid here and I feel like a rhinoceros has been dropped on me. So I'm calling it quits for the day and hoping to do better tomorrow.

Hey, you beat me! 500 words is 500 more than I've managed all week. Same reasons. So, sympathies.

As I noted to the yoga class this morning, I wish I could move to the desert where it's dry and I can think.

(Uh. Right. 11 months of the year, that's us! Unfortunately, August is month number 12.)
