Cats on Skirts: documenting the Cambridge Skirt Mountain
Welcome to the cats on skirts project, aiming to record the Cambridge skirt mountain in all its, well, allness.
To save your friends page, the first photo is behind this

This is the blue flouncey skirt, which is probably my very favourite of all my skirts. I've had it over a decade, I think, and it is getting rather worn and old, but I love the tiers and the way it swishes about my ankles as I walk (it's longer that it looks in the picture), and the way it hangs on me. I bought it from a small shop in Camden and I live in hope of one day meeting its twin, whom I can also take home with me and treasure. You can just see the bottom of the red crinkle skirt at the base -- it was cold yesterday. Mooncat is wriggling on my lap: she was beautifully settled until the camera came out, whereupon she at once wanted to get up and see what the marquis was doing.

There is something even better about a cat sitting on your favourite skirt.
