I know. Coffee can be made by the machine, but tea... I went out and bought a new kettle en route to the gym, because there must be tea.

We reckon on a kettle lasting about 6 months in this office. Admittedly, a few dozen people will be loading it somewhat more than a single household, so they'll be getting something like ten times their normal usage.
