Project: 'The Fortune-Teller Makes Her Will'.
New words: 1005, plus some rewriting of the start.
First new line: ‘Fire,’ whispered the angels. (Also now the first line of the story. No, there are no guns or firing squads.)

It must be spring: the cats are treating the house as a hotel, and I have barely seen them all day. On the other hand, for the second day in a row, there have been almost no ladybirds awaiting eviction from our bedroom, so they may all be awake at last.
