He seems to think, like so many USian rightists, that the US constitution applies all over. The late, unlamented Fred Phelps was boggled to find that he could be excluded from the UK because he thought it was against his 'constitutional rights' but Beale, like dear Phred, might be amazed how many places in the world aren't the US. Freedom of speech certainly does not give anyone the right to freedom from consequences, say what they might.

Here in the UK the right to 'free speech' is modified by the protections afforded to minorities from hatespeech and as a member of one such minority, I'm rather glad of this.
