I lost my last job because I told joking to a colleague "Don't underestimate me, I'm small, but I'm vicious." I was genuinely joking but I think she correctly perceived the fact that yes, I can be fierce when pushed, and she didn't like it. I am honestly both very nice, affectionate and caring, and fierce. Most people can see both. Some people only see the little growling yorkshire terrier, and run screaming.
