Yes, Yes, Yes. Discovered Sharon Lee several months ago who originally published 20 years ago and couldn't find a market. Had a glorious 3 weeks in which I devoured everything she republished in Kindle format. Am now waiting with bated breath for whatever she writes next! Frankly, there are bunch of "older" as in long published, not necessarily "aged" that if they republished their backlist on Kindle at the $2.99 to $3.99 and then put out new work, would get a whole legion of new fans, not to mention that those of us who have the printed books would buy the e-version AGAIN, just to have them handy.
