We can pass it around.

This is something that I have not experienced before, and I am realizing how much it feeds my soul: I did not know how alone I felt, fighting this fight, until people like Keri stood up and said "I am tired of this! Who's with me?" It may be long distance, but oh, it helps so much.

I shall email you! :)

There are myriad issues in the Spiritual/Pagan communities (which I will not get into) but it seems the dismissal of elders and elder experiences are less of an issue. Perhaps that feeds into the respect for older women, I do not know. I only know that my biggest issue with the pagan festivals has never been feeling ignored, belittled, or having my problems dismissed.

And oh yes. I am on the other side: I ask for help! And the women I talk to seem stunned that a "new" author would ask questions and actually listen! (We will not get into the mansplaining I have dealt with, because that's another issue entirely.) It makes me angry that they've been so dismissed that it's become shocking to have someone behave differently.
