Thank you for putting this into words. I have been struggling with this deeply for the last several years. It has gotten much worse lately and I am at the end of my rope. Yesterday I confronted a boss about his behavior toward me. About how his leadership leads the way for how the rest of my ''team'' (all men) treat me. I gave short and to the point examples of his behavior. How it impacted me. How I expected him to handle things in the future. (what he would, and would not do) And that I am not going to take it anymore. That it will NOT happen to me again.

I am not foolish enough to believe that this is the end of the behavior. But it is a good beginning. And yes. I will be considered a bitch for standing up for my self. What a terrible society that condemns any woman who ''thinks'' herself to be equal to a man.

What do men really think about their Mothers, their Wives, their Daughters, to not even recognize this socially accepted behavior toward women?
