I did not like the ending of TLB because of the destruction of Narnia (I also hate endings where children undergo a memory wipe). With Susan, though, I always felt that it was not that she had taken to wearing lipstick and nylons, as that she cared about nothing else and had chosen to deny her childhood experiences.
