I don't think freedom of expression and the right to a history are the same thing either. As I said, there are many European fantasies written by non-Europeans that I love, that are well-written, that are great books, that feel strong and powerful. I have no problem with people writing outside their own culture. But, like marina_bonomi my freedom of expression covers saying 'This isn't how it was' when someone misrepresents something egregriously or with malice.
