True, it's a wild generalisation, but on average Europe has been quite a bit more imperialistic than the rest of the world over the last few millennia. We've also spent a lot of time attacked & overrun each other, because we're easy nearby targets, but it's never stopped there.

I don't think freedom of expression and the right to a history are the same thing.
