Actually, I think you need to come over here and do a bit more meeting up with UK fandom. An Eastercon would be the obvious answer (we'd be delighted to do airport/whatever collection), but if you wanted to come visit this general area instead, we've got a reasonable selection of airports around. We're the wrong side of the country for SailRail to be particularly easy though it's certainly doable.
