So, what you said about Valderrien and Grecielis having a connection to d'Artanen and Aramis made me think of something I refer to as genealogies--the inspirational lineage of any of my characters. Sometimes the father (or mother) of a line of characters will exist in someone else's world, such as Irrylath--who is the progenitor of roughly half my male protagonists. Others had their geneses in my own imagination. Regardless of origin, each and every one of them touched something in my brain and birthed a line of characters. Now, I don't know what this says about me or my inner workings, and I like to pretend I don't really care what it says, but the fact remains that whenever I come across a character who appears to be 'related' to one of those lines, my heart gives a little gallop and my breath catches. It intrigues me to discover that other people experience something similar. Huzzah to not being alone in my weirdness! Thanks!
