Three days off, for the anniversary event and so forth. Book complaining about the delay and whinging about getting going again. Mutter.

The war-band have reached the abbey, and are rather muddy. The abbot is expansive, Idwal is hoping for beer, and no-one knows what the king makes of all of it.

I am not hugely whelmed by any of the horse trading currently going on amongst our would-be leaders, and if I hear another Tory politician use the phrase 'strong and stable government' one more time I may scream and throw things, but my whelm hit rock bottom on hearing Blunkett1 describing the LDs as behaving like harlots.
Way to go with the gendered insult, Mr Blunkett. Because misogynist language *always* helps...

The high chance that we are about to be handed on a plate to the Tories is hugely depressing. I can be Swedish now, please?

1 He was never my favourite politician. Indeed, with my academic hat on, only Howard ranks lower in terms of their stint as education minister. But I'd hoped we were finally shot of him.
