Amazing scenes

Astonishingly, the never ending anniversary story is finished. And very odd, even by my standards. On the plus side, it's not about water at all (that's two in a row, which is a record). On the minus side... As I said, odd. Quixotic, even. The marquis is reading it as I type and will doubtless be able to tell me every little flaw.
In other news, a sudden gust of snow mid afternoon wiped my windows from brown-grey to white-on-brown, and drove the cats inside to sleep in the warmest places and try and sit on teh keyboard.
