Monday and Tuesday turned out a little interesting, what with one thing and another, and today was scheduled mainly to involve plumbers, so I approached it with some trepidation.
Only to have it turn out really rather well. Boiler fixing chap was due to phone early to let me know in which two hour slot today he would arrive. The result being that I had to free up the whole thing in advance. He rang at 9.30 to say he'd be around between 11 and 1, turned up on the dot of 11 and was done by 11.30. All very smooth.
Then spent the afternoon having lunch with and then writing at local writing friend, which was extremely pleasant. Book seemed to appreciate being taken out to be worked on somewhere new, so I will try this again. I do enjoy writing in company with others who are writing. I find it both soothing and inspiring: I must try and do it more often.
And yay, Grass King is moving again.
